Large capacity loads are spun easily with the durable and quiet V24 centrifuge by LW Scientific. This centrifuge carries up to twenty-four 15mL test tubes at speeds up to 3200 rpm (up to 4000 on the V24T), and also includes small tube shields for 13x75mm tubes. The variable speed control allows for blood, urine and other fluids to be spun at CLIA-recommended speeds; the optional digital tachometer accurately measures the speed when exact g-forces are critical. The metal lid securely locks shut, while the small transparent view port allows for safe observation of samples and speed calibration checks. A convenient timer with an alarm can be set for runs. A handy electronic brake switch is also featured to quickly stop the rotor. Suction-cupped feet prevent the centrifuge from slipping on the lab countertop. All metal body construction includes a cooling fan for the motor compartment. The V24 and V24T includes a 24-place rotor, 24 tube shields for 15mL tubes and 24 tube shields for 13x75mm tubes.
