The 8-place ULTRA centrifuge series from LW Scientific has a unique, space-saving triangular shape to fit easily in to a corner. These centrifuges, made of sturdy aluminum alloy, accommodate most test tubes from 3mL to 15mL. The wide stance eliminates wobble, while the suction cupped feet prevent slipping. The brushless motor (110V only) is virtually maintenance-free and the clear lid allows easy viewing of specimens while in use. Choose from four different models to meet your laboratory separation needs. Each model includes an 8-place tube rotor, eight 15mL tube sleeves and eight 13x75mm tube sleeve inserts. The ULTRA Tach Zero-Lock centrifuge features a digital tachometer with a four-digit display. Also this model has variable speed control (0-3,300rpm/ Max RCF of 1350g) with a speed display. The ULTRA Select centrifuge features a selectable 4-position speed control which includes 3,300 rpm for blood - 1350g; 1,800 rpm for urines and semen - 400g; 1,500 rpm for fecals - 275g and 800 rpm for other tests - 80g. This model also features a timer and safety shut-off switch. The ULTRA Variable centrifuge features variable speed control up to 3,300 rpm which is ideal for labs that run mostly blood and urine samples. Max RCF for this model is 1,350g.
